Maria Lopes

Maria Lopes is Springer’s Vice President of Library Sales for the Latin America and Caribbean region. Maria joined Springer in May of last year to take over the newly created position and counts with over 14 years of experience in the publishing industry. Having started her publishing career in the UK, Marias has worked in the past for companies such as Blackwell Publishing and Publishing Technology. Maria has a PhD in Quantitative Methods, having studied at Universities in both Portugal and the UK and is fluent in several languages, including Portuguese, Spanish and English.
